Eco-Towns!
Four new “eco-towns” have been planned for Great Britain. These towns, Rackheath, Bicester, Whitehill Bordon, and China Clay, will become zero-carbon developments. Nine thousand new homes will be built on disused land beginning in 2016 with access to a new system of smart meters to track energy use and community charging points for electric cars. Over 40% of their land area will be made up of parks and gardens. To read more about this exciting initiative click here: link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8152985.stm
